  • Undeleted COMMONWEALTH
  • Black overprint shifted downwards causing undeleted THIRTY

FDC - Manila with Military Censor Mark

Stocks of the 30c Blood Compact issue from the Commonwealth period were overprinted with black bars deleting the words "United States of America",  "Commonwealth" and "Thirty".

Note:  Issued to supplement the 16c Provisional registry fee stamps issued in 1942.

FDC - Manila with Censor Mark

Issued to commemorate the first anniversary of the Philippine Executive Commission which replaced the U.S. Commonwealth Government and served as the administrative arm of the Japanese.

Remaining stocks of the 1941 issues of 8c and 1p Air Mail stamps featuring Moro Vinta and Clipper from the Commonwealth period,  were overprinted in black with Japanese characters which means "First Anniversary, Philippine Executive Commission" and the date "1-23-43".  The numerical surcharges were also in black.  Black deleting bars were used to obliterate "United States of America" and "Commonwealth of the".

Stocks of the 2c Rizal, 6c Filipina and 30c Blood Compact were overprinted with black deleting bars to obliterate "United States of America" and "Commonwealth".  Surcharged in black.

SECOND PRINTING - curved deleting bar is shorter, closed "C" and different type of "S" on CENTAVOS.  Issued on September 7, 1944, coinciding with Constitution Day.

Stocks of the 1934 1p Regular issue were overprinted with curved deleting bar on "United States of America" and surcharged "50 CENTAVOS"

1p on 4p - Montalban Gorge, blue and black (19,975).  Plate Nos:  129939, F129939, F129938.

FDC - Manila with Military Censor Mark

Known as the KALIBAPI issue, in honor of "Kapisanan sa Paglilingkod sa Bagong Pilipinas" or "New Philippine Service Association".  This is the counterpart of the KINLO HOKO or the "National Service Association of Japan"

Stocks of the 1934 4p Regular issue were overprinted with black curved deleting bar on "United States of America" and surcharged "ONE PESO" in black.
