Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi)
- The Philippine Eagle is the national bird of the Philippines. It is
uncommon in forests from lowlands to over 2000m, usually in
mountainous areas. It hunts from within the forest canopy from
perches. It has huge body size, broad but relatively short wings,
long tail, nearly all white underparts including underwing.
