Two-lined Monocle Bream
(Scolopsis bilineatus).
The Two-line Monocle Bream fish is a
very hardy salt water fish that is popular in an aquarium setting.
These fish are often white with black around their edges and a
yellow dorsal fin. This fish will stir up sand on the bottom to find
their food which normally consists of crustaceans and worms.
Commonly found on coral reefs.
Adults
occur on most reef habitats, usually in pairs, and
juveniles inshore or in lagoons or rubble zones.
Occurs singly or in small aggregations
Green Chromis
(Chromis caerulea).
Found in large aggregation
above Acropora corals in sheltered areas such as lagoons and reef
flats.
They have slender, elongated, oval
bodies with an iridescent sheen and forked tail. They are one of the
mellowest and most peace loving fish of its entire family, therefore
they are very safe to keep in tanks.
They
look splendid in school, and exquisite in a well lit aquarium. The
Green Chromis fish are active swimmers and spend most of their time
in the upper to mid-levels of an aquarium during the day.
