PRESS RELEASE: Three new postal services in Juan Click

February 24, 2014   Posted By: Corp.Comm

Capitalizing on its core business of mail and parcel delivery, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will launch in a program dubbed as Juan Click three innovative services, making the postal network more relevant to customers.

PHLPost is set to launch today, February 24, the Personalized Stamps, Pinoy e-mail and PhilPost Mobile App for Social Pension Pay-Out. The event will be held at the lobby of the historic Post Office Building in Manila.

The three new services are expected to generate revenues without compromising its mandate of providing the lowest possible costs for postal services.

The Personalized Stamps will be the first of its kind postal service to be offered to the public. They can now create their own Photo stamps which can be used not only as a gift or souvenir but also to mail letters.

Just like creating your own history in postage stamps, Phlpost said. The postal service is introducing these personalized stamps to revitalize the Philatelic business and make it more appealing to the public.

To adapt to the current trends in the postal global environment, PHLPost is utilizing the information technology to serve its clients better and to expand its market through e-commerce.

Pinoy e-Mail offers a complete e-commerce solution that allows merchants to set up and run their online store in an instant. PHLPost will provide merchants a complete end-to-end solution, from online selling, purchasing and payment of goods up to delivery.

Meanwhile, the PhlPost Mobile App is a feature of PhlPost Door-to-Door delivery service.  PhlPost will also put in place its own Mobile application for social pension pay-out. This end- to-end solution will be piloted to serve the requirements of DSWD beneficiaries under the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizen Program (SPISCP). The Mobile App will be used by letter carriers.

This major upgrade of its services shall meet the strong demand of consumers, small industry and other frequent shippers to do business with PhlPost.
